Aside from the clear blue skies and moderate temperatures, there is no better reason to visit Miami next week than Hispanicize Week 2015. The sixth annual event is the premier U.S. Hispanic trendsetter gathering, bringing together more than 2,000 Latino influencers from the industries of marketing, social media, journalism and entertainment.

So what can you expect from such an event? We’ve somehow managed to narrow it down to the following six items:

1. World Class Sponsors

Hispanicize has become the most important platform for U.S. brands to launch new products, services, celebrity alliances, films, initiatives and more within the multicultural community, so it should come as no surprise that the event garners many world-class sponsors, including Best Western.

2. Fun, Fun and More Fun

Hispanicize was built to be an anti-conference. With a track record that includes synchronized swimmers, live penguins and even a 12-foot tall Transformers robot with a live human inside, you never truly know what to expect. Some highlights to expect this year include the Blogger/Vlogger Yacht Party and the Closing Night Concert Bash in South Beach with Gente de Zona.

3. Great Prizes and Giveaways

Some people claim that Hispanicize spoils its attendees. With VIP treatments and giveaways that have included trips to Italy, premium washer/dryers and more iPads than we can count, it is easy to see why!

4. Latinovators

Previous celebrity attendees to Hispanicize include Rita Morena, Carlos Vives, Soledad O’Brien, Maria Elena Salinas, Emilio Estefan and Carlos Ponce. This year’s event will continue to surprise and delight with more Latinovators, including YouTube sensation DulceCandy.

5. The Tecla Awards

Every industry needs an award program that is done with integrity and that recognizes excellence. That’s the reason we launched the Tecla Awards, bringing recognition to digital content creators, with 20 of the 30 award categories devoted to Latino digital influencers.

6. The Positive Impact Awards

A signature national award program of Hispanicize, the Positive Impact Awards is a red carpet gala and concert event that celebrates the achievements of five Latinas and Latinos who personify doing good and serving people. The gala program is a venerable “Who’s Who” of brands, agencies, journalists, celebrities and other high achievers.

Best Western will be in the center of all the action next week and keep you apprised of the creative endeavors, new products, technologies, marketing campaigns, entertainment and more announced during the event and targeted to the Latino consumer.
