PapiBlogger takes off on Thanksgiving Family Road Trip to Historic Cities of St. Augustine, Savannah and Charleston

MIAMI, FL – November 25, 2013 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Road tripping dad blogger PapiBlogger (aka Manny Ruiz) will kick off a big holiday season of family travel with a three-state Thanksgiving Week trip to the historic cities of St. Augustine, Florida, Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina.   Sponsored by State Farm and Toyota, the nearly 1,300-mile, six-day road trip will kick off in Miami on Monday, November 25, culminating on Sunday, December 1.  In the spirit of social media storytelling, PapiBlogger will be chronicling his family’s exploits daily through the hashtags #HolidayDriving and #LetsGoPlaces (@PapiBlogger on Twitter), on Instagram @PapiBlogger, on Facebook and, of course, through PapiBlogger.com.

This trip’s PapiMobile will be a 2014 Toyota Sienna courtesy of Toyota Motor USA.

“We’re visiting these historic cities at a time of the year when they are especially charming,” said Ruiz who will be accompanied on the trip by his wife Angela, co-CEO of Latina Mom Bloggers, and their four kids Jonathan, 13, Elena, 9, Briani, 5 and Naomi, 1.  In addition to his blog, Manny is the CEO of the annual Hispanicize Event for Latino influencers and Hispanicize Wire. “We’re extremely grateful that State Farm and Toyota are making this special family trip possible.”

During this holiday road trip – like others past – history, geography, science and even photography will be in session for the children.  The life lessons of surviving and thriving together as a family is part of why road trips have become one of the most important traditions the Ruiz family works hard to repeat as often as they can.

Among the sites the family will be visiting will be the Castillo de San Marco and Fountain of Youth in Florida, the Bonaventure Cemetery in Georgia and Fort Sumter National Monument in South Carolina.
