Miami to Alaska Family Road Trip: A Look at this Year’s PapiMobile

For the second year in a row PapiBlogger is taking to the road for an epic family trip that we believe has got to qualify us for the Guinness Book of World Record’s feat for most miles driven by a blogger with his wife and three young kids.  Well, there may not be an official record for such a thing but  I have to think that adding last year’s 12,000 miles plus this year’s anticipated mileage will qualify us for some sort of wild family prize.

Record or no record, PapiBlogger is proud to say that this year our family will be traveling from Miami to Alaska in one of the most comfortable, safe vehicles in the nation.  This summer’s ultra cool PapiMobile is none other than a 2011 Buick Enclave.

We're inviting everyone to follow our travels on this blog, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and even in person. This is the magnet we have on both the driver and front passenger 's side doors.

The four keys to your ideal summer family road trip vehicle are all exceeded by the Buick Enclave.

I don’t care what gizmos you dress a vehicle up with, when you’re trusting a car to take you cross country with your precious wife and kids everything starts with safety first.  Buick Enclave was recently named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for models built after January 2011. The Institute rates vehicles based on high-speed front and side crash tests, a rollover test, and evaluations of seat/head restraints.  The vehicle has also earned a five-star crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), further building on the luxury crossover’s leading safety rating record.

The PapiMobile has two sunroof windows. One in the front and another one towards the back. Nice touch!

The vehicle also comes equipped with the venerable OnStar Navigation system, one of the most indispensable  tools that several times rescued us from running out of gas and from getting lost.

Our Enclave’s interior features attractive leather seats for seven that feel broad and wide enough to keep the entire family ultra comfortable.

The PapiMobile comes equipped with a DVD player for the kids in the back, remote control headsets for listening to movies and other important features like Satellite Sirius radio, an absolute must we first got addicted to last year when we traveled the country in a Chevy Traverse.

So let us get this straight: you are a blogging about a free car that a car company gave you for a summer trip? Don’t you think your review is a bit biased? Just curious. GRACIAS. Have fun on your trip!

My personal policy with PapiBlogger is that I never get involved with a company, service or product that I cannot confidently endorse for my own family. I frequently turn away things that don’t meet that standard.

Will I be biased? The moment I picked the Enclave to be the PapiMobile I made a conscious decision to trust this vehicle with the comfort and lives of my wife and three kids for 36 or so days.

I would LOVE to own this vehicle and for those who doubt my sincerity, they can just take a test drive themselves and see why. I’ve disclosed that we got this vehicle from Buick like we do anything else but that does not negate the fact that I genuinely love our PapiMobile.
