I’ve been blessed to live 47 years without a cavity so if you are as “teeth-aware” as I am, you may want to take a close look at one of the best gadgets I was recently gifted to review in a long time: the Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected.
The Philips Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected ($199.99) is an electric toothbrush that uses motion sensors to track your brushing technique and a companion app on your phone to identify problem areas as you brush. If you’ve never tried a Philips Sonicare toothbrush (I bought my first one eight years ago), trust me. This is not a gimmick.
The Sonicare toothbrush give your teeth a brushing that your own hand can never replicate but what takes this special is the fact that this electric toothbrush scans your teeth, real time to reveal through a special app how well your brushing your teeth and what areas you need to pay special attention to. FlexCare Platinum says that it will only take two weeks to experience a 10% improvement to your dental health.
FlexCare Platinum lets you choose from three cleaning modes — Clean, White or Gum Care — and three intensity settings — Low, Medium or High — to create a brushing experience that’s tailored to you. In the box you get the brush itself, two brush heads, plastic travel caps, a carrying case, and a charging base.
The Sonicare FlexCare Platinum Connected is a premium-level electric toothbrush that recently won PC Mag’s Editor’s Choice and retails for $199.99 (or $219.99 with the UV sanitizer, which I highly recommend).
